We accept cash, check, and card for in-person donations.

Office hours are Monday-Thursday 9 AM - 5 PM and Fridays 9 AM - 2 PM.

Online Donations

We utilize PayPal for online electronic donations.  

Donations by Phone

Call our office at 706-629-7283 for card donations.

Monetary donations can be allocated to specific programs such as our Community Kitchen, Operation Happy Christmas, or Emergency Financial Assistance Program.   Donations can also be made in memory or honor and we will mail a notification letter to the family or designated recipient. 

Donations are tax-deductible as the Hand-Up, Inc. dba Voluntary Action Center (VAC) is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation.  We provide tax receipts for all donations.  Please make all checks payable to Voluntary Action Center or VAC.
